I only have an hour to write so i´m sorry if i don´t get to write very much! also, we are using spanish keyboards so it is so hard to use the punctuation on these keyboards! everything is underlined red! It was so good to hear from everyone. i opened up my email and and had 14 messages to read. the support almost brought me to tears.. i will briefly tell you about my week. We woke up´saturday morning and got to go to meetings with the CCM president. he is such a great man! he gave us our tags and everything became official. we carried on throughout the week and really got to know everyone here. i absolutely love this CCM. there are probably around 70 missionaries here.. it makes it alot more personal and i love that! The language is hard.. i mean really hard. all the teachers speak spanish and it makes it very difficult. i´ve prayed more this last week and a half than i ever could imagine. the lord has started to humble me and made me realize i cant do this without his help. The spirit here is overwhelming. anyway, on monday we were in the middle of a practice discussion when elder fruehan said he had to go throw up. Hermana Dyer told him to get in bed for the rest of the night and get some rest. We didn´t think much of it and elder galagher and i just went on with our night. the next morning elder gallagher woke me up at about 5 in the morning saying that he didnt feel well and that he had to go to the bathroom. I got out of bed and we started walking to the restroom. on the way we could hear talking (and some other unpleasant sounds) so we started to wonder why people were up at 5 in the morning. we walked in the restroom and there were 6 elders either bent over the toilets throwing up or taking care of some other business. we then started to realize what was going on.. I was feeling pretty good and had thought that i had avoided it. i was sooo wrong. it wasnt but two hours later that i was bent over those same toilets throwing up. EVERYONE was sick or getting sick. they used out room to lock in everyone that had already thrown up. they wouldnt let us out. we were to sleep and eat crackers when they told us. it was awful. I can only remember one time being more sick than i was those two days. we all got these cool masks that we had to wear.. there were only about 15 people that werent send to bed with no supper. our P day is usually tuesday or wednesday but because the CCM was in lock down we put it off until today :) anyway, i just want to close this email by letting you guys know that there is no doubt in my mind that i am doing the lords work and he is with me every step of the way. i have dropped to my knees in tears asking for help and he has been there every step of the way. I can testify that God wants us to be successful, we just need to put in the work and ask for his help. I have felt as though when i thought i couldn´t do any more, the lord has picked me up and carried me to show me that it can be done. I want to testify of the importatance of prayer. I beg you to kneel down to your heavenly father and give thanks for all of your many blessings. i have seen the way the people live here. If you are on a computer reading this i promise you that there are things to be grateful for. i love you all! oh.. and the reason for the subject heading is because the food here is soo good! straight to the thighs (and stomach and chest, etc..) though!
